Sturgeon fish underground

An aquarium hall with valuable representatives of sturgeon fish species is located at the Caspian Riviera Grand Palace, which is inscribed in the coastal cliff from 6th of the 12th floor.

The wall-mounted aquarium holds almost 1 million litres of freshwater; about 400 fish of weight from 1.5 to 4 kg live in it; floor capacity of the aquarium is designed for 140 thousand litres.

There are no analogues of this museum in the Commonwealth of Independent States countries. The aquarium performs two functions at once: familiarizing tourists and residents of the region with the life of Red Book fish, as well as replenishing sturgeon fish in the Caspian Sea.

The hotel not only shows the fish but also breed fish of the sturgeon family. During specially organized excursions, visitors get acquainted with the work of the incubation workshop.
