Aktau is the youngest and most promising city in South-West Kazakhstan, founded in the 60s of the last century on the Mangistau Peninsula.

Its main feature is the cultivation of sturgeon breeds on the basis of the hotel, which makes it unique. One of the main missions of the Caspian Riviera Grand Palace is to contribute to the preservation and increase of the sturgeon population of the Caspian Sea, through independent rearing of sturgeon fish and their release to the Caspian. The first release of sturgeons at sea took place in August 2018, during the summit of the five Caspian littoral countries, which took place in Aktau, where the Caspain Riviera Grand Palace was honored to host an event of this level.
