Zhygylgan is one of the mysterious geological formations in Mangyshlak. A huge dip of 2.5 km by 4 km was formed as a result of the washing out of clay sand cushions by the underground waters, on which the giant plasterboard rested. The 35-meter thick layer fell to a depth of 50 meters, squeezing out the soaked rock into the sea. Several ancient fortress walls, traces of a mysterious prehistoric, three-fingered horse and a saber-toothed cat were found at the bottom of the collapse. Zhygylgan is very difficult to convey in photographs, you need to see it with your own eyes.
